As part of the "Art Shelter" project, which aims to bring creativity to the disadvantaged of Ventura, this short film explores an event that resulted in the dislocation of a community of people who illegally sheltered in the Santa Clara River bottom. On the morning of March 1, 2011, the City of Ventura and volunteers entered the river bottom armed with trash bags, tractors, trucks, and dumpsters. By the end of the day, the river bottom was nearly clean of encampments and waste. However, due to the city's lack of a permanent emergency shelter, the question for the dislocated remains: Where Will We Go?
